Security Deposit
A $500 security deposit is required and is payable upon receipt. The deposit is refundable within 7 days following the rental, subject to the trailer being returned without damage, in acceptable cleanliness, and with all equipment complete and in good condition.
Mandatory Acknowledgements
I understand that the security deposit is $500.
I confirm that my vehicle meets the requirements for towing the trailer and complies with all applicable provincial laws, including the appropriate braking system.
No smoking inside the trailer. A $300 fine applies.
I agree to return the trailer clean, empty the wastewater tanks, and return the propane tank full.
No pets unless prior written authorization is provided.
The reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Pricing and Payment
Reservation deposit: 50%. The remaining balance is payable when taking possession of the trailer. Accepted payment methods: Interac, electronic transfer, or cash.
Use and Conditions
The renter agrees to use the trailer responsibly, not smoke inside, not keep animals without authorization, not sublet the trailer, and comply with all road laws.
Festivals and events, including intensive camping use, are prohibited without written authorization.
Towing and Safety
The renter confirms that their vehicle is suitable for towing the RV and is equipped with an appropriate hitch and a functional braking system, including the appropriate electric brake system where required.
The lessor is not responsible for problems related to the renter’s vehicle.
Mileage
Included mileage: N/A. Excess mileage: N/A.
Liability and Damage
The renter is fully responsible for damage caused to the trailer during the rental period, including damage resulting from misuse or negligence.
Repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit and/or billed to the renter.
Maintenance and Cleanliness
The trailer must be returned clean, with wastewater tanks emptied and the propane cylinder full when applicable. Additional charges may apply if these requirements are not met.
Insurance and Accidents
Insurance is provided by the company. In the event of an accident, theft, vandalism, or damage, the renter must immediately notify the lessor and cooperate with insurers.
No liability may be admitted to a third party and no decision concerning the incident may be made without the lessor’s approval.
The renter remains responsible for any applicable insurance deductible and damages not covered by insurance.
Cancellation
Cancellation is permitted; however, the reservation deposit is non-refundable.
Inspection
An inspection will be completed before the rental and again upon return. An inspection report will be signed by both parties.
General Provisions
This agreement constitutes the complete agreement between the parties. Any modification must be made in writing and signed.
Condition of the Trailer
The renter acknowledges having inspected the trailer before departure and confirms that it is clean, in good condition, and consistent with the inspection report signed by the parties.
Any issue not recorded on the inspection report will be presumed to have occurred during the rental period.
Renter’s Responsibility
The renter is responsible for the trailer, its accessories, and all included equipment throughout the rental period.
The renter agrees to use the trailer carefully, normally, and in accordance with the instructions provided by the lessor.
Damage
The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, breakage, or deterioration to the trailer or its equipment during the rental period, whether caused directly by the renter or by guests or occupants.
The renter agrees that repair, replacement, cleaning, or restoration costs may be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately when costs exceed the deposit.
Loss-of-Use Charges
When the trailer must be removed from service for inspection or repair because of damage occurring during the rental, the renter agrees to compensate the lessor for reasonable lost rental income resulting from the trailer being unavailable.
Awning
The awning is provided as a courtesy. The renter is fully responsible for any damage to the awning, regardless of the cause.
The awning must be retracted when occupants are away, overnight, during strong winds, and during storms or severe weather. Any awning damage will be billed to the renter.
Equipment and Appliances
The trailer contains mechanical, electrical, electronic, and propane equipment. The lessor performs reasonable checks before every rental; however, mechanical or technical failures may still occur.
The renter must immediately report any problem. The lessor will make reasonable efforts to correct the situation when possible.
No refund will be issued for interruption or failure of accessory equipment when the lessor is not responsible for the failure or an immediate repair is impossible. This provision does not limit the renter’s rights under applicable law.
Prohibited Activities
Smoking or vaping inside the trailer is prohibited. Climbing on the roof is prohibited. Equipment may not be modified or repaired without authorization. Unapproved devices that could damage the electrical system may not be used.
The trailer may not be transported outside Quebec without written authorization. Specialized cleaning or repair charges may apply for non-compliance.
Pets
Pets are prohibited unless prior written authorization is provided. Cleaning or repair charges may apply for hair, odours, scratches, or other damage caused by an animal.
Return of the Trailer
The trailer must be returned on the scheduled date and time, in a reasonably clean condition, and with all supplied equipment and accessories.
Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning, tanks that have not been emptied, missing equipment, late return, or damage identified upon return.
Security Deposit — Final Inspection
The security deposit may be held until the trailer has been fully inspected. The lessor has a reasonable period to assess and document damage before refunding the deposit.
Acceptance
By signing, the renter acknowledges having read the rental agreement, operating instructions, and these terms, and agrees to be bound by them.
Condition of the Trailer and Legal Warranty
The renter acknowledges having inspected the trailer before departure and declares that it was received in satisfactory, clean, safe condition and fit for its intended use.
The trailer is rented in the condition in which it exists at the time possession is taken, subject to warranties provided by applicable Quebec law, including the legal warranty where applicable.
Normal wear, cosmetic imperfections, or minor failures that do not affect normal use may be present and do not constitute grounds for a refund, reduction of the rental price, or cancellation.
The lessor does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of accessory equipment such as the audio system, television, Wi‑Fi, USB ports, awning, decorative lighting, or other comfort equipment. Failure of accessory equipment does not entitle the renter to a refund except where required by applicable law.
The renter agrees to report any defect or problem as soon as possible so the lessor can assess the situation and, when possible, offer a reasonable solution.
No refund or compensation will be provided for loss of use, inconvenience, lost time, travel expenses, camping fees, cancelled reservations, or other indirect expenses resulting from breakdown or failure beyond the lessor’s reasonable control, subject to rights provided by applicable law.
Administrative Fees in the Event of Damage
In the event of an accident, damage, insurance claim, or repair resulting from an event during the rental period, an administrative fee of $150 to $500 may be charged to cover time spent assessing damage, managing the file, communicating with insurers, travel, and repair follow-up.
These fees are in addition to repair costs, any applicable insurance deductible, and lost rental income resulting from the trailer being out of service.
Cleaning, Inspection and Reconditioning Fees
Cleaning fees are mandatory and apply to every rental without exception. They cover not only cleaning, but also the time required to complete a full inspection of the unit upon return.
The inspection includes checking the trailer’s general condition; identifying damage, abnormal wear, or breakage; checking equipment operation; inventorying all accessories and equipment included at pickup; and preparing the trailer according to Solution VR quality standards for the next renter.
Cleaning the trailer personally, in whole or in part, does not justify removing, reducing, or refunding the cleaning fee. For quality, hygiene, safety, liability, and insurance reasons, final cleaning and the official inspection must be completed by authorized Solution VR personnel.
The renter must still return the trailer in a reasonably clean condition. If exceptional cleaning is required—including excessive mud, garbage, persistent odours, pet hair, smoke, mould, significant stains, biological matter, or other abnormal dirt—additional cleaning charges may be billed based on actual time and costs, in addition to the mandatory cleaning fee.
The renter acknowledges having been informed of this policy before signing the agreement and accepts that the cleaning fee is an essential condition of the rental. A dispute or refund request will not be accepted solely because the renter cleaned the trailer before returning it.
